Using Your Sacred Muscles for Purpose and Presence

Finding greater meaning, love and compassion in ourselves and our world

Let’s find deeper and richer meaning in our lives today, so we can be happier and more fulfilled.

We’re taking on the Huge Challenge of finding meaning in the vast and varied suffering in and around our lives.

So many of us deny our own personal transformation, because we avoid and numb from the suffering both in us, and around us.

Today we’re going to dive deeply into finding meaning in suffering.

And we’re going to do it through the inspiration of Viktor Frankl, Holocaust survivor and renowned psychiatrist.

1 minute for More Meaning Today!

What’s One Thing that’s important to you? Just one thing. Go with the first thing that pops into your heart. Let yourself see and FEEL how much joy and learning this one thing gives you.

Finding Meaning in Suffering is Possible,

It can be hard to find peace and purpose, on a planet with so much suffering and pain. It can feel hopeless, and meaningless, to try to find joy, when there is so much suffering around us.

But if Viktor Frankl found meaning and peace in a concentration camp, perhaps we can open our minds and hearts to connect with ‘suffering’ in a more meaningful and purposeful way. [1]

Frankl urges mankind to bravely facing our challenges and transforming our predicaments into opportunities for growth, we can turn personal tragedies into triumphs. This perspective invites us to view suffering as a catalyst for personal development and resilience.

How to Be Happy, Says Concentration Camp Survivor

Viktor Frankl said: “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.

And that is the heart of Spiritual Psychology.

Realizing that it is NOT the situations of your life that is creating your reality – but how you are relating to it, is.

There is SO MUCH of this life that is out of our control. So for all of those parts, that truly are not in our circle of control, let’s learn how to relate to suffering in a way that brings us greater purpose and peace.

🤔
Frankl encouraged us to consider that suffering can be transformed or alleviated when it is connected to a purpose or significance. Finding meaning in one's suffering can change the perception of the experience itself. “In some ways suffering ceases to be suffering at the moment it finds a meaning, such as the meaning of a sacrifice.”

Your Sacred Muscle Workout 💪 Finding Meaning and More in Suffering

Learn How to Find the Signs & Synchronicity you need to feel supported and move forward!

We’re simply going to meditate: be mindful and contemplate, life’s big questions today.

That’s all 🤣

  1. Choose just one of these questions, and be silent, still and allow sacred space within you. You don’t need to figure anything out. Just ask the question, and then be curious. Ponder. Contemplate. Observe what takes place in your head and your heart.
    1. What gives YOU meaning?
    2. How is the unavoidable suffering in your life, trying to teach you?
    3. How can you relate to your unavoidable suffering, in a way that transforms it?
    4. How has an experience of suffering from your past, supported you in positive ways?
    5. What do you need to bring to your own suffering, to turn it into a positive source of meaning in your life?

This is big. A huge turning point to liberation.

Once we can authentically experience that our suffering is not against us, but rather is a divine teacher, a strengthener of purpose and meaning, life does begin to feel easier, and more enjoyable.

But in my experience, it’s an ongoing journey, and there is always a greater opportunity to find more meaning, in our own suffering. It truly is a never-ending story.

I continue to find great Love, connection, compassion and purpose, as I paradoxically continue to both: • grieve and miss those that have passed from my life, AND, • grow closer, and more connected, and to learn more from our inner connection.

We have to allow life to be BOTH a source of pain, and a source of purpose. It’s rarely one or the other.

We hope you are finding greater joy, peace and purpose in your life. And we are so glad you are here with us.
