They focus endlessly on working more, making more money, collecting things, reaching milestones, improving themselves, and becoming more attractive, thinner… just becoming “better.”

Free your mind from the role of making sure everything and everyone acts the way you need them to, just so you can feel okay. Your mind isn’t suited for that job. Let go, and release your inner struggles instead.
You can change how you relate to your mind. When it starts pushing ideas about what you should or shouldn’t do to get the world to fit your preconceived notions, simply stop paying attention.
The truth is, everything will be fine once you accept everything as it is. And that’s when everything will truly be okay.
