Mirror Work: From Challenge to Transformation

Mirror work is a powerful way to build self-love, courage, and compassion.

By looking into your own eyes and speaking affirmations, setting intentions, or simply saying "thank you," you start shifting how you see yourself.

At first, it might feel strange or even uncomfortable. But over time, what once felt difficult can become a transformative and even joyful experience.

Mirror Work for Authentic Generous Self-Gratitude

  1. Get some privacy. Let yourself have this time uninterrupted with yourself.
  2. Let yourself connect to yourself, by looking into your eyes.
  3. At first just let yourself be present, to feel and think whatever comes present. Just look into your eyes, breathe and be present.
  4. Emotions may come up, feel them, allow them, do your best to continue looking into your beautiful eyes.
  5. And when you’re ready repeat and complete this statement as many times you like, or until you feel complete: “Thank you… “ You might like to thank yourself for…
    1. Challenges
    2. Stuff you do
    3. Achievements
    4. Little, ordinary things that get taken for granted
    5. Relationships
    6. Kindnesses
    7. etc
  6. Of course it’s not the words that are important. It’s the Love, the compassion, the connection.
