We all need support. And we do ALL need professional support SOME time. I’m doing 45 minute sessions for Fenix’ Family at 75% off my usual session fee. That’s just $75/session. So if you need a little support feeling better, maybe Fenix and I can support you?
Book Fenix Family Special Session with ZoëCan We Really Feel Gratitude for Ourselves? 🤔
Funny how sometimes it feels easier to appreciate others—even those who challenge us—than to extend that same gratitude to ourselves.
As humans, we seem to excel at self-criticism and struggle with self-compassion.
Turning Mirror Work into Mirror Play
Mirror work is a simple yet transformative practice that nurtures self-love, compassion, and courage.
By speaking affirmations, setting intentions, or simply offering yourself a heartfelt "thank you" while looking in the mirror, you can deepen your relationship with yourself.
It might feel uncomfortable at first—most new habits do. But as you continue, it becomes less like "work" and more like joyful, empowering play.
A Sacred Self-Gratitude Workout
Mirror Work for Authentic Generous Self-Gratitude
- Get some privacy. Let yourself have this time uninterrupted with yourself.
- Let yourself connect to yourself, by looking into your eyes.
- At first just let yourself be present, to feel and think whatever comes present. Just look into your eyes, breathe and be present.
- Emotions may come up, feel them, allow them, do your best to continue looking into your beautiful eyes.
- And when you’re ready repeat and complete this statement as many times you like, or until you feel complete: “Thank you… “ You might like to thank yourself for…
- Challenges
- Stuff you do
- Achievements
- Little, ordinary things that get taken for granted
- Relationships
- Kindnesses
- etc
- Of course it’s not the words that are important. It’s the Love, the compassion, the connection.
