Can you take a little time today to give in a way that feels a bit out of the ordinary
When we share love freely and without conditions, something beautiful unfolds.
Unless You’re a Dog
Giving unconditionally is no small feat—unless you’re a dog, of course.
Most of us give with some expectation of reciprocation.
But for just one day, why not try giving your time or help freely, without expecting anything in return?
Even if it’s only for a moment, pause and appreciate the neighborhood you’re part of.
Your Sacred Giving Workout 💪
Find Greater Joy in Helping Out at Home
- Give 7 minutes today… that’s it. Not much. Just 7 minutes to something around the neighborhood that’s not usually something you do.
- It could be walking the block and picking up trash.
- Or calling a neighbor and helping out.
- Or dropping off things you no longer need to your local charity.
- As you’re completing these 7 minutes – take the time to be grateful for your life as it is. Do your best to be aware that you have so much to be grateful for. Your things. Your home. Your neighborhood. The people the live around you. Let yourself consider that each one has been put in your life uniquely and for a reason. Let yourself feel grateful you have them. Let yourself enjoy helping out in an unusual way.
- Now the tricky bit. Just do your best to let go of anything in return. Release any expectation that you’ll be thanked, or appreciated. That you’ll receive any support in anyway. Just do your best!
