Mondays aren’t always easy… 😬

And here’s why Mondays aren’t always easy.

We find it difficult to be gentle and encouraging to ourselves when we're not being productive.

If we could make one simple switch... from being critical and harsh towards ourselves when we're feeling down... to being kind and supportive when we feel low…

We would have much more energy on Mondays, Tuesdays, and every other day!!!

We've been conditioned with false information and emotional baggage.

Our parents experienced even harsher treatment than we did, and this pattern repeats itself until we take radical action.

The Science is Clear.

Scientific research strongly supports that "tough love" is not effective.

Self-compassion is more motivating than self-criticism.

However, we instinctively and unconsciously rely on pushing and pressuring ourselves for motivation.

Can You Relate to This?

When you're doing less, you are hard on yourself.

We have all been conditioned to motivate ourselves through toughness and severity.

But science is telling us that it's actually softness and kindness that are the most motivating?!!!!

What the heck.

I Know It’s Radical, But I Tell All My Clients…

Forget ‘Tough Love’.

We are all being way more critical and cruel to ourselves for our flaws and failures than anyone outside of us could ever be.

Consider motivating yourself the way you motivate a baby to walk…

Be gentle. There is no need for pushing or pressuring yourself. Just have infinite trust that you're doing the best you can.

Be patient. Let go of your attachments and expectations. Trust that your timing will be absolutely perfect.

Trust Yourself!!! You're going to get there. The less you force, the more you'll flow!

And if you don’t believe in Science…

If you're not willing to trust the academic research, conduct your own personal experiment!

Spend just this Monday... or even this whole week... being soft, kind, supportive, and compassionate with yourself. And see what happens?!

And if you want to experience what Soft Love feels like, looks like, and sounds like... our Monday Morning Magic calls exemplify this approach.

When we start to trust ourselves and our life... magic happens.

We’ll be here! Mondays at 9:30am Pacific.

And yep we’ve had requests for other timezones… but we need more numbers to make it meaningful… not financial cause noone’s getting paid 🤣 but to make it meaningful we need more numbers!

Ok see some of you soon!

We love you xooxo
