The Simplest Happiness Meditation

Meditation reduces anxiety, improves concentration, and gives us better health and sleep. But for me, the number 1 reason I meditate, is because it helps me experience greater happiness in my days.

Try this meditation for happiness, today!

  1. Find a quiet and comfortable place to sit and close your eyes.
  2. Take a few deep breaths and relax your body.
  3. Start to think about things that make you happy. These can be memories, people, experiences, or anything else that brings you joy.
  4. Visualize these happy thoughts in your mind. Imagine yourself experiencing them and feeling the happiness they bring.
  5. Stay with these thoughts for a few minutes, allowing yourself to fully experience the happiness they bring.
  6. If your mind starts to wander, gently bring it back, and call forward the next moment of happiness to focus on and feel.
  7. When you feel ready, open your eyes and feel one last deep and rich feeling of happiness. You are now complete.
