In many ways, all that’s needed is the willingness to close your eyes for a while. Not for sleep, but to take a breath, and gently keep your eyes shut as you focus within.

A Sacred Meditation Workout 👁️

Simple Steps to a Daily Meditation Routine

Consider this as a plan for the next 7 days, to very simply and easily creating a meditation routine.

  1. Day 1. Just close your eyes, wherever you are, for 60 seconds. It could be while you’re brushing your teeth. It could be while sitting in front of the TV. The key is to set a timer on your smart phone.
  2. Day 2. Just close your eyes for 60 seconds and sit down somewhere. Anywhere. Don’t forget to set a timer for 60 seconds on your phone.
  3. Day 3. Find somewhere to sit down, where you can be comfy, relaxed and let go of the world, and close your eyes just for 60 seconds. Let yourself breathe, relax and just let go of any thoughts or feelings that come up. Set a timer for 60 seconds on your phone.
  4. Day 4. Sit down again in a comfy relaxed place, and close your eyes just for 60 seconds. Yep set a timer on your phone. And today notice how you’re getting better at relaxing, at letting go of thoughts and feelings.
  5. Day 5. Sit down and close your eyes just for 60 seconds. Set a timer. And again notice how you’re relaxing, maybe even enjoying this 60 second vacation from your life.
  6. Day 6. Sit down and close your eyes just for 60 seconds. Set a timer. Enjoy it! Breathe! Relax! Let go of your worries, your responsibilities, your life! Enjoy the vacation!!!
  7. Day 7. Sit down in the best comfiest most relaxing place for you, that feels like a great place to meditate every day in. Set a clear intention to sit here, in this place, every day from now on. Now close your eyes, for at least 60 seconds. Set at timer for 60 seconds, at least. Now Enjoy it! Breathe! Relax! Let go of your worries, your responsibilities, your life! Enjoy the vacation!!!
