What Is Heart Coherence?
According to HeartMath research, sustained positive emotions create a state called psychophysiological coherence, where the mind, body, and emotions work in harmony. This state enhances physical efficiency, emotional resilience, mental clarity, and cognitive performance.
Physiologically, this coherence is reflected in a smooth, wave-like heart rate pattern that indicates harmony between the branches of the autonomic nervous system, with increased parasympathetic activity. Other body systems align with the heart's rhythm, promoting deeper synchronization of heart and brain functions. Simply put, psychophysiological coherence supports greater well-being and performance across the board.
Knowledge Is Good—But Experience Is Better
For years, I read everything I could about meditation—both its spiritual and scientific foundations. Yet, it wasn’t until I committed to sitting down, closing my eyes, and simply practicing that I truly began to understand its power.
Meditation, I believe, saved my life. While I offer resources for various practices on our Dashboard, I encourage you to trust your journey. The school I personally study with is MSIA - Soul Awareness, but the timing of your journey is uniquely yours.

A Heart Coherence Inspired Workout 💪
Synchronizing Your Heart with your Body and Mind
You can practice this any time you like. The more you practice it, the more powerful it will be when you use it in very challenging moments in service to accessing peace of mind when you need it most.
- Focus on your heart area and take some deep breaths. Breathe in for 5 seconds, and breathe out for 5 seconds (or whatever feels good).
- Think of something that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, like your pet, your favorite place, or something awesome you accomplished.
- Now when you breathe in, imagine yourself filling up with this warmth, this Love and appreciation. And on the breath out let yourself imagine and feel like this loving and compassion is radiating out from your heart center in all directions.
