Spend just One Minute to Complete at the End of Today. Turn things off. Close tabs and devices. Close as many loops as you can. And write a clean clear list for tomorrow!

Longer Hours = Lower Productivity, Says Science

Complete Each Day to Create Your Life

  1. Clean up your physical and digital workspaces โœ๏ธ A 2011 study by Princeton University found that a cluttered, disorganized environment impairs our ability to focus, restricts our capacity to process information, and ultimately keeps us from doing our best work.
  2. Review your to-done's ๐Ÿคฃ One of the easiest and most effective ways to stay motivated and build momentum in your life is to celebrate your progress! Take five minutes to review your completed tasks at the end of each day!
  3. For the tough stuff โ€“ focus on just one small next step ๐Ÿชœ If thereโ€™s something youโ€™ve been putting off, find the SMALLEST baby step you can possibly take, and write that down for tomorrow! Itโ€™s magic. Try it and see.
  4. Write out tomorrowโ€™s to-do list โœ… Writing out tomorrowโ€™s to-do list at the end of the workday boosts your productivity in two important ways:
    1. It helps you stop thinking about work.
    2. It increases your willpower and mental clarity.
  5. Do the Least Fun Thing First ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Plan to do the toughest stuff first. It will free up so much energy to get to more than you can believe.

    3. Do someone a favor. Doing something for someone else is scientifically proven to make you happier.

Pro Tip: Create a list or some kind of reminder for your Evenings!!!! Post it in front of your desk, or wherever youโ€™ll be sure to see it as you complete for the day! Consider also creating an alarm signaling the end of the day. But not a beep beep one. I like โ€œSeedlingโ€ on my iphone. Itโ€™s melodic soothing and I actually love hearing it.

Iโ€™m great at my morning routine, but Iโ€™m new to mastering the end of day.
