Deep Breathing is Detoxifying
But did you know that breathing out all the stale, old air from the bottom of your stomach is also detoxifying. In fact it’s one of the BEST ways to detoxify. It helps us:
- Releases toxins: Deep breathing helps expel toxins from the body.
- Oxygenates cells: Deep breathing increases oxygen in the body, which helps cells function better and process waste.
- Stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system: Deep breathing can put the body into a relaxed state that supports detoxification.
- Improves posture: Deep breathing can help improve posture, which can lead to better circulation and back pain relief.
- Increases energy: Deep breathing can increase energy levels, making it a good way to have a mid-day pick-me-up.
1 Minute for BREATHING DEEPLY
Set a timer for 1 minute. Breathe deeply for 1 minute. Don’t stop until 1 minute is up. Keep going. Til the end.
